Dr Tommaso Castroflorio in the Angle Society

At the recent meeting of the Angle Society, North Atlantic Component, held in Quebec City, Canada, April 4-6, Dr. Tommaso Castroflorio was named an active member of this society.

THE EDWARD H. ANGLE SOCIETY OF ORTHODONTISTS (EHASO)

The Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists (EHASO) grew out of an organization of Angle School alumni founded in 1922. Members were dedicated to the goals of excellence and advancement in the art and science of Dr. Angle's orthodontics. In 1930, The Angle Orthodontist was inaugurated by the Angle Society as a means to further these goals.

Today, EHASO is a global society that adheres to its founding traditions. Members, drawn from the entire community of orthodontists around the world, are identified as capable and eager to contribute to the advancement of orthodontics. Only orthodontists with these qualities are invited to become members.

The Angle Society currently has only 660 members worldwide, including about 5 percent of orthodontists in the United States.

BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE ANGLE SOCIETY

Membership in the prestigious Angle Society is by invitation only. Only a select few orthodontists are chosen from around the world, and only after demonstrating academic and clinical excellence. To become full members, selected orthodontists must complete and submit clinical case reports, an oral report, and a written report in a format suitable for publication.
