Dr Castroflorio was one of the keynote speakers of the courses held during the International Congress of the Italian Society of Orthodontics in Florence. The topic was represented by the correlation between Orthodontics and Periodontology, the specialty of Dentistry focused on the health of the tissues around the tooth. The lecture showed the possibility of treating severe cases of periodontitis with clear aligners, showing protocols and cases treated at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Torino
