On friday 10th of october, Dr. Castroflorio held a 3d lecture (first time in SIDO history) focused on the role of the orthodontist in the treatment of TMDs.
Several clinical cases were reported in order to understand how to use fixed orthodontic appliances or clear aligners (Invisalign) once TMDs symptoms (masticatory muscles related or temporomandibular joint related) were solved. International guidelines and their clinical applicability in the daily routine (as performed in our offices in Torino and Neive) were introduced to attendees.
